Four other films Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Inception, Shrek Forever After and Eclipse are also among the fifty highest-grossing films of all time. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 became the ninth film to have surpassed the billion dollar mark, the 3rd highest-grossing film of all time, the highest-grossing film in the Harry Potter franchise, and the highest of 2011 as a whole.
