Sprint Officially Announces The ZTE Flash, Along With A Handful Of New LTE Markets


Considering the multitude of leaks surrounding the device,, you probably already know basically everything there is to know about the ZTE Flash for Sprint. And now, The Now Network has made this mid-ranger official. The device features some pretty modest specs, along with a very Galaxy Nexus-esque form factor:

  • 1.5GHz dual-core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 12.6MP rear shooter
  • Android 4.0
  • 1,780mAh battery
  • 8GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 4G LTE
  • 5.27 inches (H) x 2.56 inches (W) x 0.38 inches (D)
  • 5.2 oz.

To go along with this new 4G offering, Sprint also announced several new additions to its LTE network:

  • Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
  • Oakland/Fremont/Hayward, CA
  • Key West, FL
  • Fort Smith, AR
  • Michigan City/La Porte, IN
  • Bloomington, IN
  • Eau Claire, WS
  • Ardmore, OK
  • McAllen/Edinburg/Mission, TX

Unfortunately, there's no official date when these areas can expect to see LTE, only that they will be activated "in the coming months." The Flash, on the other hand, can be yours today for $130, and you can get it either online or in retail stores.
