I am an AP U.S. Government & Politics teacher. I made this score calculator app for my students. To calculate your possible score, input the scores that you think you will get on the MC section and each of the four essays.

On the actual AP Exam, the point values of Questions 1-4 will vary, but each is weighted to approx. 15 pts. For simplicity, each question in this app is assigned a value of 6 pts. and the inputted score is multiplied by 2.5 to get the composite score. For the overall score, this calculator uses the score ranges provided on the 2009 Scoring Worksheet.

This calculator is intended for estimation purposes only, in prepartion for the AP U.S. Government & Politics Exam. The author is not affiliated in any way with the CollegeBoard.
